59. Died August 27, 2010. Preceded in death by his mother, Christine Murrell Phy;
father, Harold Phy. Survived by wife, Patsy
Mangrum Phy; her children, Tamra (Bruce) Rainey, Barton Mangrum; granddaughter,
Dale Rainey; uncle, Howard Phy, Wichita Falls,
Texas; and several cousins. He graduated from Glencliff High School
in 1969. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a United States
Military Veteran (Airforce). He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ,
and was a member of Charlotte
Heights. He had a great
love for God's Word and singing Praises to the Lord. He was a faithful member of
the Church of Christ Friday Night Singers. He was
thankful for the opportunity to be a part of Amerindian Missions in Guyana
and made five trips there starting in 2007. Visitation will be Tuesday, August
31, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home. The funeral service
will be Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Charlotte Heights Church
of Christ. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow
at 2 p.m. at McEwen
Cemetery. The family
request in lieu of flowers donations be made to New Heights Christian Community
Services or Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort.

Charles Fuller

Chief Master Sergeant Charles R. Fuller died peacefully at Penrose Hospital
on April 28, 2016 in Colorado Springs
at the age of 84.
Charles is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty Lou" Fuller and children,
Anita M. Franklin, Paul M. Fuller, and Carmen T. Fuller. He also leaves behind
six grandchildren, Ivan, Paul, Matthew, and Isabel Franklin, Lucia Fuller Swick,
and Tesara Nielsen Fuller.
Charles was born on September 16, 1931 in Belize City, Belize
to Charles and Marjorie Fuller. He spent his childhood and school years in Belize before immigrating to the United States
in 1952. Charles and Elizabeth met in Minnesota
in 1958 and were married in Minneapolis,
MN on April 23, 1960.
Charles is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where
he earned many medals, including the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, and
more. Charles served honorably in the United States Air Force for 30 years
before retiring in Colorado Springs
in 1983. The dedication and patriotism he learned in the Air Force never left
him, as his family will attest.
Charles was also a faithful, devoted member of
the Catholic Church. He will be remembered as a loving and dedicated husband and
father and a distinguished member of the
United States military.
Services will be held this Thursday, May 5th,
with a visitation starting at 9:00am, Rosary at 9:30am, and Mass at 10:00am at
St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and he will be interred that afternoon at Fort
Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
